Welcome

The South Fork Flyers R/C Club was formed in
December of 2006, by a group of radio control
airplane enthusiasts from the Thorp, WI area.

We became an AMA (Academy of Model
Aeronautics) charter club (#4768)
in March of 2007.

Our hope is to expand interest in the hobby by
offering a fun, friendly and educational
environment  for anybody interested in learning
more about the hobby.
We have AMA registered
"flight instructors" and a trainer plane available for
use for anybody interested in learning to fly!!

Our "home" flying field is located in the
Marshall RC Park, which is one of the
premiere RC parks in the Midwest! Our
club flying days are Tuesdays and Thursdays.

In the pages of our website you will find
information about our club, it's members,
our flying facility, as well as links to
other resources that we hope you
will find helpful.

All South Fork Flyers club members are
required to be members of the AMA.
